Since 2019, ADMI has partnered with Rubika, the top European school for Animation, Video Game, and Industrial Design, to bring world-class Animation and Video Game skills to the African continent.
The partnership includes a number of exchanges for trainers to learn from each other and contextualize the program for the African market. In November 2021, Mathieu Lampron, an Animation faculty member at Rubika’s campus in Montreal, visited ADMI for the first time on his trip to Kenya to conduct industry research, and upskill ADMI’s 2D Animation faculty. He also met with industry partners who have hosted our students on attachment.
As a result of such exchanges, the curriculum will be continuously updated to meet the demands of African employers, ensuring that young animators will be able to access job opportunities.
