On Thursday, April 16th, 2020, Wilfred Kiumi moderated a lively panel of conversation starters to discuss how African creatives can weather the impact of COVID-19. “Life After COVID for African creatives”. June Gachui, Juliani, Nonini, David Muriithi (‘DJ Dlite), Judy Ogana and Adam Kiboi all discussed current challenges and future actions that we can take as a creative community to build resilience and opportunity.

This was a first for ADMF, and we will be hosting more webinars for creatives, to go deeper in some of these ideas and be able to provide tangible tips to creative practitioners who have seen their livelihoods and their mental health drastically affected by the turbulent situation we find ourselves in.
